Hello Cruisers,
As I write this, it is December. Christmas is less than three weeks away, and we are done cruising and partying for the year.
I attended the Chicagoland meeting that also included a party for 14 French people that were off to cruise Route 66. I was not the only one there from Wisconsin, and we all had fun meeting the French people and giving them a good send-off to their cruise.
Saturday, November 12th was the Hartford Christmas Parade and Pre-Holidays Dinner. We had 6 cars participating in the parade this year, with 11 people.
The Fox Valley Christmas party was last Saturday. Besides the good food and good company of the Fox Valley people, there were some surprises. I imagine some of those moments will be appearing on Facebook.
Remember to mark your calendars for the Taliesin cruise that has been re-scheduled to May 4-6 of next year (2012). I have re-scheduled the hotel and restaurant (Friday reception) for that weekend, and will finalize the Taliesin tour early in 2012. Also, for the first time ever, the Friday reception will be a theme party, a 50s night. Pompadours, pony tails, and poodle skirts are welcome. By the way, Frank LLoyd Wright, and Taliesin are going to be the focus of a movie to be made. Click here to learn more.
I will be working on the large (whole year) calendars for 2012 again, and have them available on the Badger State Cruisers site again very soon. As before, they will be PDF files, showing the entire year at once, to help you plan your PT Cruiser events throughout the year. If you take the file to a FedEx Kinkos (or whatever they call them now), they can print it for about $5.
Check the events page of the Badger State Cruisers web site for more events (not hosted by the Badger State Cruisers), and go to the "Club Links" page to see what else other clubs around us are doing. Some information is becoming available, or you an contact the club if an event interests you.
