I am happy to say I have much more information on the
Ten Chimneys cruise, Saturday May 9th.

 

I have made a reservation, so I know we will be touring
the house in the morning.  There is a tour of the house,
and a tour of the entire estate.  Since we sometimes have
participants of limited mobility, and do not wish to exclude
anyone, we will do the house tour only.  The tour is 90
minutes, so there is plenty to see in this beautiful house. 
I will let people that are participating know when and where
we will meet before we go to Ten Chimneys.

                 

Lunch will be in Delafield at the Revere's Wells St. Tavern.  

Don't let the word "tavern" discourage you.  It's a pretty classy place.

           

After lunch will be some "cruising" of course.  Our route will
take us on another of Wisconsin's designated "Rustic Roads",
through some great countryside, and along some of the many
lakes in the area.

             

Our cruise will end at another historic place.  It is Hawks Inn, a

historic Stage Coach stop.  There will be an additional $5.00

charge for those who go there.

          

I need to know by April 7th if you will be attending because Ten

Chimneys needs a final count of people a month ahead. Please
let me know by e-mail, and send a check to me for $30.00

Steve Peters and I have discussed policies of membership
to Badger State Cruisers, and have a Membership Form online.
For some events, non-members will need to pay a few dollars
extra (it is explained on the membership form).  The Ten Chimneys
cruise will be one of those events.  If you are not a member by
the day of the event, there will be a small additional fee to Badger
State Cruisers.
